For me scale is important. I like my paintings to envelope and engage. It is paramount that the painting evoke and provoke in an active dialogue between person and painting. A back and forth, give and take of ideas through visual language. I see the images as words in a sentence that are laced together in the mind not only by vision but emotion, physicality and intellect. The whole self. The painting asks and tells many things. I ask of one thing. See what you are seeing.
